KWINTESSENS

I was really looking forward to the new Kwintessens and the result of the photoshoot …

Just before I left for Made London, last month, Design Vlaanderen asked me if they could use some of my collection for a photoshoot for the next Kwintessens. Of course I said yes! 

Vlak voor ik naar Made London vertrok, vroeg Design Vlaanderen of zij een deel van mijn collectie konden gebruiken voor een fotoshoot voor de volgende editie van Kwintessens. Lang moest ik daar niet over nadenken. Natuurlijk!

They asked photographer Filip Vanzieleghem to make the photo shoot for the magazine. The photographer was inspired by natural elements. For each object he drew his inspiration from nature, which represents the ‘non-design’ that surrounds us. 

Ze vroegen fotograaf Filip Vanzieleghem (o.a. fotograaf van Delvaux) om de fotoshoot te maken voor het magazine. Voor deze reeks liet hij zich inspireren door natuurlijke elementen. Hij haalde bij elk object visuele inspiratie uit de natuur, die staat voor het ‘non-design’ dat ons omringt.

The result is unexpected with a surprising result. The bag he photographed is Tbag EVE. All the attention goes to my bag and the red is so bright that it almost 'splashes' of the page.

Het resultaat is onverwacht met een verrassend resultaat. De handtas die hij fotografeerde is Tbag EVE. Alle aandacht wordt gericht op mijn handtas en het rood is zo fel dat het bijna van de pagina spat. 

Deze elegante avondtas is te bewonderen tijdens mijn open studio dagen (13 & 20 december -14u-18u) of in de Shoobil-store (Antwerpen - meer in een volgende blogspot)
